Swan Valley Lake is a well established & mature lake of around 9 acres set in 13 acres of quiet surroundings with a stretch of the River Blackwater that passes through. The lake turned syndicate in June 2006 after it was run as a day ticket venue for a number of years. Since then the stock has thrived & now boasts a number of big carp, with 6 different fish 40.lbs+ including 2 different commons & a further 3 fish that have fallen just short of the mark. The number of 30.lbs+ carp is relatively unknown, but this number we believe to be in excess of 35 fish. This is backed up by a big head of 20.lbs+ fish including some cracking linears & ghosties. The lake itself has many features from gravel bars to silt beds along with a number of fishy snags & various other underwater features. The fishing is by no means easy adopt the correct method & at the right time & place you can have some big hits. The lake is now open for day ticket from the 1st of April 2021.
